Barcelona Closes the 19th Edition of the ITF World Tennis Master Tour MT 1000 with a Historic Participation Record
From July 6 to 12, 2025, Barcelona once again became the epicenter of international tennis with the celebration of the 19th edition of the ITF World Tennis Master Tour MT 1000 – Powered by factorenergia. The tournament brought together 560 players over 30 years of age, consolidating its position as the most important veteran competition on the peninsula and reaching an absolute record of participation, a sign of its constant growth year after year.
The city of Barcelona, with its unique combination of sun, sea, architecture, and history, was the perfect setting for participants and companions to enjoy Barcelona during the month of July. In addition, its excellent public transport network —tram, bus, metro, and railway— facilitated comfortable and quick access to all tournament locations.

A total of 120 club members competed in this edition, with the opportunity to face high-level players from various countries. The event, which this year premiered the highest grade awarded by the International Tennis Federation, also offered a very dynamic parallel experience: food trucks, live music, and tastings that enlivened the atmosphere throughout the week.
